Job Summary

Our client is a leader in their industry based in Bermuda’s local business sector. They have an exciting opportunity for a diligent and energetic individual to join their company as Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

This is a multi-functional leadership role combining oversight of daily operations, executive support, human resources management, compliance (including Money Laundering Reporting Officer duties), and vendor coordination. The successful candidate will drive organizational efficiency, promote a professional office culture, ensure HR compliance, support executive leadership, and manage regulatory obligations.

This role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive matters with utmost professionalism and confidentiality. Experience within the insurance, financial services, or real estate sectors is advantageous.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in a senior operations, HR, or executive support role, preferably in hospitality, insurance, financial services, or international business environments.
  • Familiarity with human resources functions and related employment practices.
  • Basic understanding of payroll, PIPA, AML/ATF, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Use of AI within safe business parameters.
