On behalf of our leading technology focused Client, we seek experienced Network Consultants to join their expanding Bermuda based team.

The Network Consultant will provide consultation, solutions architecture and quality assurance along with conducting technical research. The successful candidate will prepare written reports with recommendations, while ensuring incidents and projects are planned and executed according to departmental standards and providing quality assurance.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in strategic consultations, solutions architecture and assuring recommendations can be implemented, in a timely and fiscal manner
• Performing analysis and develop client deliverables appropriate to the specific consulting engagement
• Candidate must be able to research, analyze and prepare written reports and recommendations as it relates providing new opportunities and new strategic technological direction
• Identifying sales opportunities and leads
• Assisting in writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience as a consultant with a demonstrated technical business focus on Microsoft solutions, IT Security and Network Infrastructure, SAN technology and CISCO UCS
• Primary certifications relating to designing and implementing advanced Microsoft Server Solutions, VMWare, Cisco, HP and Compellent solutions (MCSE or MCITP, VCP, CCIP)
• Extensive demonstrated experience with FileServer deployment and centralized management along with desktop management
• Server and Storage Architecture - Demonstrated strong knowledge of server and storage solutions (including servers, storage, data centre networking, security, experience in architecture assessments, planning and implementation)
• Virtualization Architecture - Demonstrated strong knowledge related to design, implementation and maintenance of server and desktop virtualization solutions (VMWare, Hyper-V, VDI and XenApp)
• Microsoft Server Solutions - demonstrated strong technical knowledge related to design, implementation and maintenance of the latest releases of MS server solutions (Exchange 2007/10, Server2007/10, ActiveDirectory, GroupPolicies)
• Data Centre Network Infrastructure - strong technical knowledge related to design, implementation and maintenance of DC network infrastructure (FC, FCoE, iSCSI etc.), preferably Cisco MDS or Nexus
• Excellent communication and project management experience
• Proven experience with system security and compliance
• Proven experience with designing and installing of at least two of the following blade server and SAN technologies; HP, Compellent, 3Par and NetApp

Added benefit:

• Design and implementation experience relating to the following firewalls; CheckPoint, Cisco and Stonesoft
• Proven Citrix design, installation and configuration experience
